J-Cut Post is a post-production collective offering full post-production consultation, supervision, and picture editing services. On every project we are guided by a lack of ego and a love of the post-production process, enabling us to adapt fully to the vision of a director, brand, musical artist, and beyond.
Our Story
J-Cut Post started with a deep love of making movies with your friends. Before it was J-Cut, it was the McBoble Brothers - two high school friends making a series of playful films where imagination and ambition ran free. Now after a decade of working together that still holds true. J-Cut approaches every project with the same passion that got us into filmmaking in the first place, to achieve the connection and play that springs from collaboration.
Where We're Going
Story is everything. That is the fundamental mantra that guides everything J-Cut does. Whether that story is your brand, your film, or your new single, we are here to guide it to its full potential. To do so we aim to add like-minded post-production professionals to the team that share in our mission so that we can embrace the freedom to chase after the stories we want to work with. With J-Cut you don’t just get a contractor but a creative that will follow your story wherever it may take them.
